3 Months

Things you have been doing?

I've dug my own breastfeeding grave! When we were in the hospital for your fever I pumped and gave it to you in the bottle. Well since that luxury you will now fight me on nursing almost every feeding. So it has been one tough job. All you want to do is take your feeding out of the bottle. I have tried everything. So I'm going to continue to try to offer you to nurse first and if not I'm going to have to pump and give it to you in a bottle. By the way you are eating around 6 oz every time! Big girl!

You eat every 3 hours during the day.

We have been working on getting you more into a routine. I think you like it more and it helps me stay sane.

You have started going to sleep around 8-9 and sleeping until 3 and then you will wake up to nurse and go back to bed until 6:30-7.

I'm still trying to get you to nap in your crib, but sometimes its just easier for you to nap in your bouncer or swing.

You are such a talker. You will talk to your toys, to your hands, pretty much anything. If this gives me any indication into your personality I would say you are going to take after mommy and be a little chatty Cathy!

You are quite expressive with your eyebrows. You love scowling at us! It's so funny.

You recognize people now. When your Mimi comes over you will give her the biggest smile. She loves that.

You are such a long baby! After the hospital we had a follow up with your doctor and you were 12.75 and 24 inches in length.

Things you love:

Your mam pacifier. You are obsessed with this thing. You will wake up in the middle of the night looking for this if it fell out.

You love your play mat. It has a mobile that spins around so I hung toys from it and you will just watch and grab onto the toys.

You love when people sing to you.

Things you don't love:

nursing :(

Some firsts:

You had your first hospital stay which I hope will never happen again.

You are now grasping things and holding your head up better.

You got to see your first snowstorm!

Scarlett your mommy and daddy love you so much and just love watching you grow and discover everyday.  You are the light of our lives!
